REVELATION WATCHERS | PROPHECY INVESTIGATION
A Political Earthquake—and a Much Bigger Prophetic Question
America has entered a dramatically different political era. Following the November 3, 2026, midterm elections, Democrats captured both the House of Representatives and the Senate, ending Republican control of Congress and setting the stage for two years of political confrontation. President Donald Trump acknowledged that the ongoing war with Iran contributed to Republican losses while defending the conflict on national security grounds. Vice President JD Vance blamed the war for the electoral defeat, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis described the results as a political “meteor strike,” warning of an approaching “extinction-level event” for Republicans.
Beyond Washington’s political calculations lies a question that has occupied biblical scholars, prophecy researchers, and generations of Christians: Could accelerating political, economic, and technological changes be creating conditions for the future global system described in Daniel and Revelation? This question is central to Trump vs. the Beast: The Ten Kings Prophecy and the Bible’s Revelation of Coming Final Days, the book by Pastor Paul Begley and I (investigative journalist Troy Anderson,) which examines the Antichrist, global power structures, emerging technologies, and possible developments between 2026 and 2030.
The election does not establish that any particular biblical prophecy has been fulfilled. Nevertheless, the upheaval offers an opportunity to revisit what the Bible teaches about the rise and fall of earthly kingdoms, the dangers of concentrated power, and the ultimate triumph of Jesus Christ.

Franklin Graham’s Warning: A One-World System and the Antichrist
Weeks before the election, evangelist Franklin Graham delivered a warning that attracted attention among Christians following world affairs. During an October 15 interview with Sean Hannity, Graham discussed artificial intelligence, increasingly interconnected economic systems, and the biblical description of the Antichrist. “There is going to be a one-world system. There is going to be the Antichrist,” Graham declared, pointing to Revelation 13 and its warning about a future system in which economic participation becomes connected to the mark of the Beast.
Graham suggested that technological advancements could make extraordinary economic control possible, although his remarks were not a prediction of the congressional election or an identification of any political party as the Antichrist. His warning concerned the potential concentration of power and the importance of spiritual readiness. Graham also emphasized that his ultimate hope rests in Jesus Christ, reminding believers that biblical prophecy should inspire faithfulness rather than fear.

TRUMP VS. THE BEAST: The Ten Kings Prophecy and the Bible’s Revelation of Coming Final Days
As America enters a new chapter of political uncertainty, #1 bestselling authors Pastor Paul Begley and Troy Anderson explore the “Ten Kings” prophecy, rise of the Antichrist, and the spiritual challenges facing our world.
Discover why biblical prophecies continue to raise urgent questions about the future—and why the ultimate message of Revelation is one of hope and victory through Jesus Christ.
The Mystery of the Ten Kings: What Did Daniel See?
More than 2,500 years ago, the prophet Daniel described a vision of successive kingdoms and an extraordinary configuration of political power. In Daniel 7, four great beasts emerge from the sea, representing earthly kingdoms. The fourth beast possesses iron teeth and ten horns, which Daniel 7:24 identifies as ten kings arising from a kingdom, followed by another ruler who subdues three of them.
Many futurist interpreters understand this vision as pointing toward a future political alliance associated with the rise of the Antichrist. Other biblical scholars interpret the imagery primarily through ancient empires and their rulers. Despite these differences, Daniel’s vision emphasizes that earthly authority is temporary. The Ancient of Days ultimately sits in judgment, and everlasting dominion is given to “one like the Son of man,” whom Christians understand in relation to Jesus Christ and His eternal kingdom.
Revelation 17: When Ten Kings Give Their Authority to the Beast
The apostle John describes related prophetic imagery in Revelation 17:12–13, where ten kings receive authority for a limited period and act together in support of the Beast. In a futurist interpretation, this passage suggests a final alliance of political rulers who willingly surrender authority to a dominant leader or governing system. Such an arrangement could conceivably emerge through international agreements, economic integration, security alliances, or collective responses to a major global emergency.
A devastating war, financial crisis, or technological disruption could encourage governments to coordinate power in unprecedented ways. Yet Scripture does not identify today’s United Nations, European Union, political parties, or contemporary leaders as the ten kings. The central question is whether growing international interdependence makes the concentration of political authority envisioned by some interpreters increasingly conceivable—not whether the 2026 election has revealed the identities of those rulers.

Could Global Crises Accelerate the Centralization of Power?
History demonstrates that extraordinary crises can produce extraordinary expansions of government authority. Wars have transformed economies, financial emergencies have prompted sweeping reforms, and security threats have encouraged new surveillance capabilities. Today, geopolitical conflict, sovereign debt, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity threats, and dependence on digital infrastructure are creating new challenges for governments and societies. The Iran war illustrates how regional conflict can affect energy markets, international alliances, and domestic political outcomes.
Meanwhile, artificial intelligence and digital financial systems offer significant benefits, including faster transactions, improved security, and greater efficiency, while also raising concerns about privacy, surveillance, and concentrated technological power. In Trump vs. the Beast, Begley and I explore whether international upheaval could eventually generate demands for a new political and economic order. These developments do not prove that the Antichrist’s system is emerging, but they invite serious reflection on the balance between security and freedom, technological advancement and individual rights, and international cooperation and national sovereignty.
Revelation 13: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Money, and the Mark of the Beast
Revelation 13:16–17 describes a system in which people cannot buy or sell without the mark associated with the Beast. For centuries, readers wondered how such restrictions could become possible. Today, digital payment networks, biometric identification, artificial intelligence, and interconnected financial infrastructure demonstrate that sophisticated monitoring of economic activity is technologically feasible.
Nevertheless, a digital currency, biometric identification system, smartphone, or artificial intelligence platform is not automatically the mark of the Beast. Revelation places the mark within a broader spiritual narrative involving worship, deception, and allegiance to the Beast. The biblical warning concerns more than financial restrictions: it describes a confrontation in which humanity faces pressure to surrender loyalty that belongs to God alone. Christians should therefore examine emerging technologies with practical understanding and biblical discernment rather than assuming every innovation represents prophetic fulfillment.

The Antichrist, the Restrainer, and the Great Deception
In 2 Thessalonians 2, the apostle Paul warns about the coming man of lawlessness, who exalts himself and deceives those who reject the truth. Paul also describes a restraining influence that prevents this figure from being fully revealed until the appointed time. Christians have interpreted the restrainer in different ways, including the Holy Spirit’s work through the Church, angelic authority, and divinely established civil government.
Although the restrainer’s identity remains debated, Paul’s warning about deception is unmistakable. Artificial intelligence can now generate convincing images, voices, and videos, while misinformation spreads rapidly through digital networks. Yet spiritual deception can also arise through false teaching, misplaced political devotion, and promises of salvation through human institutions. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:4 against deception, reminding believers that the strongest defense is knowing Christ, studying Scripture, and remaining faithful to the truth.
The Road to 2028: Political Change Is Not Prophetic Fulfillment
The Democratic congressional victory creates a new political environment for the remainder of Trump’s presidency. Congressional investigations, legislative confrontation, debates over the Iran war, and the approaching 2028 presidential campaign may influence America’s domestic and international priorities. Nevertheless, Christians should exercise caution before assigning prophetic certainty to political developments.

The Greatest Prophecy Is Not About the Beast—It Is About Jesus Christ
The Book of Revelation contains dramatic visions of conflict, persecution, judgment, and the rise of evil powers, but its central message is not the triumph of the Antichrist. It is the victory of Jesus Christ. Revelation 19 portrays Christ as the conquering King, Revelation 20 describes Satan’s final defeat, and Revelation 21–22 reveals God’s promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where suffering and death will ultimately disappear.
Presidents will come and go, empires will rise and fall, and technologies will transform civilization, but God’s promises remain. Revelation 21:4 assures believers that God will wipe away every tear. The most important question is not simply whether the world is moving closer to the Ten Kings prophecy, but whether we are drawing closer to Jesus Christ.
How Should Christians Prepare for the Storm?
Scripture calls believers to spiritual readiness, practical wisdom, and compassionate service. In Matthew 24, Jesus warns about wars, deception, and upheaval, yet also tells His followers not to be troubled. Proverbs 22:3 commends prudent preparation, encouraging families to maintain reasonable emergency supplies, protect important documents, establish communication plans, and assist vulnerable neighbors.
Physical preparation, however, must never replace spiritual preparation. Christians should deepen their relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, fellowship, repentance, and sharing the Gospel while resisting fear-driven speculation. The events of November 2026 may represent a significant political turning point, but their place in any prophetic timetable remains unknown. The world may be entering a new era of uncertainty, but the Church must enter it with renewed faith, courage, discernment, and hope in Jesus Christ.
A Prayer for America, Spiritual Discernment, and Revival
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne during a time of political uncertainty, international conflict, and spiritual confusion. We pray for President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, the newly elected members of Congress, governors, judges, military leaders, and all those entrusted with public authority. Grant them wisdom, humility, integrity, and a commitment to justice, and guide our nation toward peace, truth, reconciliation, and responsible leadership.
Lord, protect our families and communities from fear, hatred, violence, and deception. Give Your Church renewed spiritual discernment, strengthen pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and believers around the world, and awaken hearts to repentance and revival. We pray for peace in the Middle East and throughout the nations, asking You to protect innocent lives, comfort those suffering from war, and raise up peacemakers.
Above all, remind us that our ultimate hope is not in any political party, president, government, or earthly kingdom, but in Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Prepare us for His glorious return and help us remain faithful until that day. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
A Prayer of Salvation: Are You Ready to Meet Jesus?
Dear Lord Jesus, I come before You acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your grace and forgiveness. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins, and that You rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and place my faith in You as my Lord and Savior.
Forgive me, cleanse my heart, and make me a new creation. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me into a life of faith, obedience, and love. I surrender my life to You and receive Your gift of salvation. Thank You for loving me, saving me, and promising eternal life to those who trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, we encourage you to begin reading the Bible, connect with a Bible-believing church, and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
