A Nation Immersed in Revival: The Prophetic Wave of Baptize America
Dear Friends,
It’s my honor to have this featured report in Charisma magazine—a platform I deeply respect for its Spirit-led journalism and commitment to sharing what the Holy Spirit is doing in this critical hour.
As a journalist, former executive editor of Charisma magazine and Charisma Media, and student of biblical prophecy, I’ve covered many powerful movements—but few have stirred me as profoundly as what we’re seeing right now with Baptize America. In this report, I take you inside a national spiritual awakening that’s sweeping the country, not through politics or power—but through water, worship, and repentance.
I recently interviewed Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church—the visionary behind this mass baptism movement—on The Inspire Show. What he shared deeply impacted me. And as I listened, I couldn’t help but think of the themes in my book The Trump Code—a prophetic roadmap of divine disruption and revival.
Now, I invite you to read my full report published by Charisma below. May it awaken your heart to what the Holy Spirit is doing in our time.

Baptize America: The Prophetic Outpouring Sweeping a Nation Back to God | Charisma News
Jesus came to the earth the first time on the heels of a national water baptism movement with a wild man named John the Baptist. Could it be that Jesus Christ returns to the earth the second time on the heels of a national water baptism movement?
—Pastor Mark Francey, founder of Baptize California and Baptize America
A national spiritual awakening is unfolding before our eyes. And it’s coming not through the expected corridors of politics, power or platforms—but through water.
On this Pentecost Sunday, June 8, hundreds of thousands of people will be baptized in one coordinated day across the United States in what could turn out to be the largest mass baptism movement in modern American history.
I had the honor of interviewing Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church here in Irvine, California, the passionate visionary behind this God-ordained movement, on The Inspire Show—and what he shared was highly inspirational.
“Wouldn’t it be like Jesus to use the state that everyone gave up on—California—and to really use the generation that no one expected anything great from—Gen Z—to be the Nazareth of our day to bring revival to the nations of the earth,” Francey said. “I think that sounds like the Jesus that we read about. It sounds like the God of the Old Testament who used a little homeschooled redheaded boy that was a musician to bring down the Goliath of the day. And I think that God is still writing stories like that in our midst. And I agree. I think that we are in the middle of a great move of God in our nation.”
If you’re in Southern California, join us at Pirate’s Cove in Corona del Mar, birthplace of the Jesus Movement in the 1960s and 70s, this Sunday at 3 p.m. for Baptize America. Get baptized and get right with God!
Revelation 911
Is this the final chapter of history?
In Revelation 911, Pastor Paul Begley and six-time #1 bestselling author Troy Anderson reveal jaw-dropping links between today’s global chaos and ancient end-time prophecies. From pandemics to political unrest, this powerful book decodes the signs and prepares believers for what’s coming next.
A Nation Immersed in Revival
What began as Baptize California—uniting churches from every county in California—has now surged into a nationwide movement, with churches in all 50 states joining hands to fulfill the Great Commission. From beaches to sanctuaries, thousands lined up for hours to declare publicly: “Jesus is Lord.”
These aren’t just symbolic acts. They are prophetic markers.
Francey shared how Jesus began His ministry after a water baptism movement led by John the Baptist. And he asked the question that pierced my spirit:
“Could it be that Jesus Christ returns to the earth the second time on the heels of a national water baptism movement?”
Last month on Saturday, May 3, in an event that echoes the book of Acts, 7,752 people descended into the Pacific Ocean in Huntington Beach, California to be baptized in the name of Christ—marking what may be one of the largest mass baptisms in American history.
The event, part of the Baptize California and Baptize America movement, sent shockwaves through the church and the culture alike. As a journalist and student of prophecy, I can’t help but ask: Could this unprecedented wave of public repentance and spiritual awakening be a sign that we are drawing closer to the return of Jesus Christ?
Why Baptize America May Be the Revival Foretold in The Trump Code
In my new book The Trump Code, I explore the prophetic undercurrents behind former President Donald Trump’s rise to leadership, his connection to historical biblical figures like Cyrus and Jehu, and the unprecedented spiritual polarization taking place in America.
What we’re witnessing through the Baptize America movement is one of the most stunning fulfillments of the prophetic themes I’ve written about.
The book argues that America stands at a crossroads—a “Nineveh moment” foreseen by world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham in my 2013 interview with him—where people must choose between judgment and revival. The surge in public repentance, baptisms and spiritual hunger reveals that God is not done with America. In fact, we may be seeing the early signs of the great spiritual awakening many prophets and pastors have long prayed for.
This baptism movement is also a response to what I call the “divine disruption” unfolding in our nation. Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus in the first century, a new generation of forerunners—pastors like Mark Francey, and movements like Baptize America—are preparing the way once again.
Could it be that The Trump Code was not just about politics, but a warning and a wake-up call for the church to return to its prophetic assignment?
I wrote that the next chapter of America’s destiny would not be written in Washington, Hollywood or Wall Street—but in the spiritual decisions of ordinary people, pastors and communities across the nation. And now we see those very people stepping into the waters, declaring their allegiance not to a political figure—but to the King of kings.
As this movement spreads—California to Florida, Huntington Beach to the National Mall—I believe it affirms what The Trump Code reveals: that God is raising up the most unlikely people and moments to fulfill His end-times purposes. The revival is real. The call is urgent. And the time is now.

A Trumpet Call in the Spirit
This moment also may be a fulfillment of what I wrote about in The Trump Code. When President Donald Trump flew over The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance event, issuing a proclamation for a “Day of Prayer and Return,” on the National Mall on September 26, 2020, many of us sensed a prophetic turning point.
Now, under this same spiritual banner, Pastor Francey and others are planning a mass baptism event in Washington, D.C. for America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. With support from leaders close to the president and the National Faith Advisory Board, it’s clear this isn’t just a movement—it’s a mission to bring America back to God.
As Pastor Francey told me, if revival can break out in California—it can happen anywhere. “President Trump wants to make a very big deal about faith in America in our 250th year as a nation,” Francey said. “So we are gearing up right now and already talking about doing a mass baptism event on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. next year for America’s 250th birthday. I don’t think that revival is coming. I think that we’re already in the shallow end of it, and I think it’s going to get stronger these next four years.”
God often chooses unexpected people and places to launch history-shifting movements. Whether it’s Gen Z, a redeemed mobster like Sammy the Bull or a president facing unprecedented opposition—God is not finished with America.
Baptism as a National Reset
Water baptism isn’t just tradition. It’s transformation. It’s a cleansing, a dying to the old and rising again with Christ.
And in a time when darkness has overplayed its hand—when children are targeted, truth is twisted and morality is mocked—God is responding by raising up a generation who want to be clean again.
From gang leaders to former Muslims to college students having dreams of Jesus—God is visiting the desperate, the broken and the forgotten.
Revival, Francey said, isn’t for the strong. It’s for the desperate. “Without question,” Francey said. “You look at King Cyrus and even Nebuchadnezzar, you look at some of these people that God got ahold of and God revealed himself to. I mean, Saul of Tarsus was the guy that no one liked. I mean everyone was dreadfully scared of him. God is notorious for turning the most infamous criminals or the most infamous enemies of the gospel into some of the loudest advocates of the gospel.
“And so I think sometimes we get so caught up in our religious mindset that we think that God could only work with good people that have it all together and have it all figured out. But Jesus was the one that said this good news isn’t for the people that have it all figured out. It’s for the sick. It’s for the broken. And so I think the evidence of God using people that no one else would use is in many ways I think a validation or a confirmation that this is of God, that He would use somebody that everyone’s written off to be the very vehicle that opens a door to the gospel, to the nations.”
Final Word: A Prayer for the Weary
If you feel dry, disillusioned or defeated—take heart. God is closer than you think.
Pastor Francey closed our interview with these words:
“The story of Jonah shows that God hears the prayer of the runaway. Whether you’re at the bottom of the sea or the end of your rope, call on the name of Jesus. He is as close as one prayer away.
“I just want give you good news that the story of Jonah is beautiful because he was in chapter one the runaway prophet and in chapter two, he was the praying prophet,” Francey said. “He prayed from the lowest point of the ocean inside of a whale. And in chapter three was the preaching prophet. And I think the beautiful part of the story of Jonah is that God can answer the prayer of someone that’s on the run. He can answer the prayer when you’re at the bottom in the deepest, darkest place of your life, and God can use your life to reach other people that are unreachable.
“My favorite part of his story is there’s no one more qualified to reach someone like you than you and God will use your background. God used a rebellious prophet to reach a rebellious city, and I just think maybe you’re watching right now or listening to the story or maybe reading an article and you think that you’re outside of God’s reach. No one is outside of God’s reach, and he’s as close as one prayer away right now.”
