RW: You use the phrase “designated disrupter.” What does that mean prophetically?
Troy Anderson:
A designated disrupter is someone God appoints to interrupt deception at a critical moment in history. These individuals are not chosen because they are polished or universally accepted, but because they are willing to confront entrenched systems.
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly raises figures who unsettle power structures just before judgment or revival. Moses confronted Pharaoh. Elijah challenged Baal worship. Jehu tore down Jezebel’s system. These were not gentle reformers—they were disruptors.
In our time, God appears to be using voices outside traditional religious leadership—political leaders, cultural figures, and influencers—to expose corruption, challenge narratives, and awaken conscience. The disruption itself is often the signal that God is moving.
RW: Many believers struggle with the idea that God could use controversial or imperfect people. How do you respond?
Troy Anderson:
Scripture leaves no room for doubt on this issue. God has always used imperfect people.
David was deeply flawed. Samson was reckless. Peter denied Christ. Paul persecuted believers. Yet God used each of them to accomplish His purposes.
The problem today is that many confuse God’s use of a person with God’s endorsement of their every action. Those are not the same. God uses whom He wills, when He wills, to achieve His ends.
When God raises a controversial figure, it often exposes more about the condition of the people than the condition of the vessel. The question is not, “Is this person perfect?” but “What is God revealing through this moment?

RW: You describe America as being in a “Nineveh moment.” What does that mean right now?
Troy Anderson:
Nineveh represents one of the greatest displays of mercy in Scripture. God warned the city through Jonah, and when the people repented, judgment was delayed for more than a century.
America now stands at a similar threshold.
We have normalized what God calls sin. We have silenced truth in the name of tolerance. We have placed trust in systems rather than repentance. Yet despite this, God continues to send warnings—and warnings are a sign of mercy.
A Nineveh moment is not permanent. It is a window. If repentance comes, judgment can be delayed. If pride prevails, consequences follow. That is the pattern of Scripture, and history confirms it.
RW: What signs of genuine awakening have stood out to you during your research?
Troy Anderson:
What has moved me most is the hunger among young people.

Troy Anderson:
Yes. I believe they are early indicators of a larger spiritual awakening.
