Revelation Watchers, are we watching subjects once largely confined to Bible studies, prophecy conferences and church pulpits move into the highest levels of America’s public conversation?
Within the span of several weeks, Vice President JD Vance has openly discussed the Antichrist, the End Times, and the implications of artificial intelligence, asking on Bryce Crawford’s podcast whether the Antichrist may already be “walking among us.” Then, on September 22, President Donald Trump stood before the 81st United Nations General Assembly and declared:
“There is no global government. And while I’m president, there will be no global taxes.”
Trump also said the United States rejects attempts to construct what he called a “globalist scheme” of control for artificial intelligence, while emphasizing national sovereignty.
For students of Bible prophecy, these developments raise significant questions—not because a political speech proves that a particular biblical prophecy is being fulfilled, but because concepts such as global governance, artificial intelligence, the Antichrist and the End Times are increasingly being discussed in mainstream political settings.

JD Vance: Could the Antichrist Already Be “Walking Among Us”?
Vice President JD Vance recently entered territory rarely explored so openly by a sitting vice president. During a conversation with Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford, Vance was asked about the End Times and whether events in today’s world caused him to think about biblical prophecy. His response was notably cautious: Vance said he does not know whether humanity is presently living in the End Times and warned against becoming overly consumed with such speculation. But he also said there are things happening in the world that would leave him “not shocked if the Antichrist was walking among us.”
That distinction is important. Vance did not claim to know that the Antichrist is alive today, nor did he claim that current events prove the biblical End Times have arrived. What is remarkable is that the vice president of the United States is publicly discussing these questions at all. Vance, who became interested in Bible prophecy at an early age, also spoke about occasions when he believed he had sensed spiritual darkness during meetings with world leaders, saying certain conversations had set off “every spiritual alarm bell” in his body.
The conversation also turned toward artificial intelligence. Vance expressed concern about AI replacing deeply human relationships and described an acquaintance using AI as a marriage counselor. His comments focused on what he sees as the danger of separating human beings from the social relationships for which he believes God created them.
Whatever one thinks of Vance’s theological interpretation, his remarks illustrate something significant: the conversation about AI is no longer merely technological or economic. For some prominent public figures, it has become spiritual as well.
Trump at the UN: “There Is No Global Government”
President Trump brought another dimension to the conversation during his September 22 address before the United Nations. Speaking before world leaders in New York, Trump strongly emphasized national sovereignty and criticized international institutions and global governance initiatives. One statement was particularly striking:
“There is no global government. And while I’m president, there will be no global taxes.”
Trump also addressed artificial intelligence, saying:
“The United States totally rejects any attempt to construct a globalist scheme of control” for AI.
These were political and policy statements—not declarations about biblical prophecy. Yet for Christians who study the books of Daniel and Revelation, the language intersects with questions Scripture has raised for centuries about the concentration of political and economic power in the final chapters of human history. That does not mean every international institution represents the prophetic system described in Revelation, nor does technological globalization itself prove that prophecy has reached its final fulfillment.
What has changed dramatically, however, is the technological landscape. The capacity for unprecedented coordination, surveillance, digital identification and financial control has developed in ways earlier generations could scarcely have imagined. For prophecy watchers seeking to understand the potential implications of these developments through the lens of Scripture, that deserves careful watching and discernment.

The Ancient Mystery of the Ten Kings
Revelation 17 contains one of Scripture’s most mysterious prophetic passages, describing ten kings who receive authority for a brief period and ultimately surrender their authority to the Beast:
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”

For centuries, Bible scholars have debated what these kings represent, when they will appear and how their authority relates to the final world system described in Revelation. In Trump vs. the Beast, we explore this ancient prophecy alongside today’s geopolitical systems, rapidly advancing artificial intelligence, digital financial technologies, the surveillance state, and the increasing concentration of technological power.
We are not claiming that every modern development automatically fulfills Revelation. Rather, these developments raise a question that every generation of prophecy watchers must confront: Are events converging in our world that could make the kind of global totalitarian system described by the Apostle John in the book of Revelation possible?
Revelation 13 and the Technology That Didn’t Exist Before
Revelation 13 describes a future system in which economic participation becomes connected to allegiance to the Beast:
“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark of the beast.”

For most of Christian history, believers could read these words but could only speculate about how such widespread economic control might actually function. Today, however, digital identity systems, artificial intelligence, biometric authentication, sophisticated surveillance, programmable financial technologies and interconnected databases have dramatically changed the technological landscape.
That does not mean these technologies are themselves the “mark of the beast.” A digital currency is not automatically the system described in Revelation 13, nor is artificial intelligence automatically an Antichrist technology. Christians should be careful not to label every technological innovation as the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
At the same time, technologies now exist that can enable increasingly sophisticated forms of identification, surveillance and economic control. For students of Bible prophecy, that makes discernment more important than ever: not reacting to every development with fear, but carefully watching, testing what we see against Scripture and keeping our focus on Jesus Christ.

What Trump vs. the Beast Investigates

Are We Watching the Prophetic Conversation Change?
Something unusual is happening in American public life. A sitting vice president is openly discussing the possibility of the Antichrist and the End Times, while a president has stood before the United Nations declaring that there will be no global government under his administration and rejecting international control over artificial intelligence. At the same time, prominent technology investor Peter Thiel has devoted public lectures to questions involving the Antichrist, technology, global power and the future of civilization.
None of these developments establishes a prophetic timetable or proves that a particular biblical prophecy is being fulfilled. But taken together, they illustrate how subjects once largely confined to churches, Bible studies and prophecy conferences are becoming increasingly visible in mainstream political, technological and cultural conversations.
For Revelation Watchers, the appropriate response is not panic, fear or speculation, but discernment, prayer, watchfulness and, above all, faithfulness to Jesus Christ. Our responsibility is not to predict dates or force every headline into a prophetic framework, but to remain spiritually alert, test what we see against Scripture and keep our eyes fixed on Christ. As Jesus told His disciples:
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”

As we approach the October 6 release of Trump vs. the Beast (the audio book was released August 24), we believe this is an important time for Christians to return to the Bible, seek God earnestly in prayer and carefully examine the extraordinary changes unfolding around us. Not every headline is prophecy, and not every technological development represents the fulfillment of Revelation. Scripture calls believers to guard against both deception and complacency, testing what we hear and see against the truth of God’s Word.
Our responsibility is to remain spiritually alert, walk faithfully with Christ and be prepared for whatever the future may bring. Ultimately, the most important question is not simply whether the world is changing or where we may stand on the prophetic timeline. The question for each of us is: Are we spiritually prepared—and are we helping others discover the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ?
This is a time to watch, pray, seek God, share the Gospel and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Whatever tomorrow may bring, our hope remains secure in Him.

A Prayer for Discernment, Revival and Spiritual Readiness
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, humbled by the times in which we live and grateful that, no matter what happens in this world, You remain sovereign over the nations, over history and over our lives.
Lord, give us wisdom and spiritual discernment. In a world filled with competing voices, rapidly changing technology, political turmoil and uncertainty, help us distinguish truth from deception, wisdom from speculation, and genuine biblical warning from fear and sensationalism. Teach us to test everything against Your Word and to seek the guidance of Your Holy Spirit.
Father, awaken Your Church and bring us back to our first love. Where we have grown complacent, awaken us. Where we have compromised, convict us. Where we have become fearful, strengthen us. Where we have wandered from Your truth, lead us back to You.
We cry out for repentance, revival and a great spiritual awakening in America and throughout the nations. Pour out Your Spirit upon families, churches and communities. Heal broken lives, restore families, rescue the lost and bring prodigals home. Raise up pastors, evangelists, intercessors and believers who will proclaim the Gospel with courage, compassion and truth.
We pray for our leaders and for leaders throughout the world. Give them wisdom, humility and discernment. Restrain evil, expose deception, protect the innocent and bring justice where there is injustice. May those entrusted with authority seek what is true and right, and may Your people faithfully pray for all who govern.
As artificial intelligence, digital technologies and global systems advance at extraordinary speed, protect us from deception and from placing our trust in human power. Give us wisdom to use technology for good without allowing it to master us, and help us remain alert to anything that would diminish human dignity, freedom of conscience or faithfulness to You.
Above all, Lord, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ. Remind us that our ultimate hope is not in presidents, governments, political movements, financial systems or technology. Our hope is in You alone.
Prepare our hearts for whatever lies ahead. Give us courage without fear, urgency without panic, discernment without speculation and faith that cannot be shaken. Help us live each day as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ—loving others, sharing the Gospel and shining Your light in a world that desperately needs hope.
May we be found watching. May we be found praying. May we be found faithful. And may everything we do bring glory to Jesus Christ.

Do You Know Jesus? A Prayer of Salvation
Bible prophecy ultimately points us beyond world events to the most important question any of us will ever face: Do you know Jesus Christ? Knowing what may happen tomorrow cannot save us, and understanding every prophecy cannot save us. No political leader, government, technology or human institution can save the human soul. Our salvation and eternal hope are found in Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, but God loved us so deeply that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again. Through repentance and faith in Christ, we can receive God’s forgiveness, reconciliation and the gift of eternal life.
If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus—or if you have wandered away from Him and desire to return—you can call upon Him today. The words themselves are not a formula; what matters is sincere repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. If this expresses the desire of your heart, you can pray:
Lord Jesus,
I come to You knowing that I need You. I confess that I am a sinner, and I ask You to forgive me. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the dead. I repent of my sins and turn to You. Jesus, I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Wash me clean, make me new and change my heart.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guide me in Your truth and give me the strength to follow You all the days of my life. I place my past, my present and my future into Your hands. Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace and Your love, and thank You for the gift of eternal life. From this day forward, I belong to You.
