I thank You for Your promises of protection. Deliver me from every snare and deadly pestilence. Cover me with Your feathers, and let me find refuge under Your wings. Your faithfulness is my shield and rampart. I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
Though a thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. Because I have made You, Lord, my dwelling place, no harm will overtake me; no disaster will come near my home. For You will command Your angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways; they will lift me up in their hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a stone.
I will tread on the lion and the cobra; I will trample the great lion and the serpent. Because I love You, Lord, You will rescue me. You will protect me, for I acknowledge Your name. I will call on You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble; You will deliver me and honor me. With long life, You will satisfy me and show me Your salvation.
I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
