Lessons from Revelation 1: What God Wants Us to Learn
The Majesty of Christ: The chapter unveils the majesty of Christ in His glorified form, surrounded by seven golden lampstands. This imagery signifies the presence of Christ in the midst of His churches. The lesson is clear: Christ is not a distant deity but intimately involved with His followers, illuminating their paths.

Fear Not: When John encounters the glorified Christ, he falls at His feet as though dead. Yet, Christ reassures him with the words, "Fear not." This teaches us that in the presence of the divine, there is no need for paralyzing fear. God wants us to approach Him with reverence but not with terror, for His love casts out fear.
The Triumphant Resurrection: Christ declares, "I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." God wants us to grasp the significance of Christ's triumphant resurrection. In His resurrection, we find the assurance of eternal life and victory over death.
The Seven Stars and Seven Lampstands: The seven stars in Christ's right hand represent the angels of the seven churches, and the lampstands symbolize the churches themselves. This reveals God's concern for His congregations, emphasizing the need for spiritual vigilance and the illumination of His truth.
