Loeb emphasized the importance of not dismissing anomalies too quickly. He pointed out that academia often resists disruptive ideas, preferring to label unknown objects as “comets” rather than admit we may be witnessing something unprecedented.
“Common sense is not common in academia,” Loeb said. “Experts often fear being proven wrong, so they dismiss anything that challenges tradition.”
The third interstellar object spotted since 2014—dubbed Atlas 3i—has fueled debate, with Loeb urging that humanity must keep an open mind to the possibility that God’s creation extends beyond our assumptions.

Another alarming subject is Apophis, the “God of Chaos” asteroid projected to skim dangerously close to Earth on Friday, April 13, 2029.
Although NASA insists the asteroid poses no immediate risk, they recently launched OSIRIS-APEX, a probe redirected toward Apophis.
