What Truly Remains? The Eternal Things - Part 1 of 3

God's Voice of Truth Goes Throughout Earth!

What truly remains? We talked about that last time. These three things that remain are the choicest gifts: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. God is love, God is light, and God is life! God is also truth, and His Word is a saving grace. His Word is perfect, complete, and accomplishes God’s will, fulfilling all things. What a powerful understanding, especially in the current state of this world.

In Psalms 136, we learn that God's love remains eternal, enduring forever. This faithful, loyal love is the most significant attribute mentioned in Psalms. Other Psalms also say His mercy (loving kindness) endures forever, such as Psalms 117, which says that His lovingkindness prevails over us. So, we can overcome and triumph through Him because of that love and kindness.

It is the eternal character of our Creator, and He said that the gates of hell would not prevail against the Church. I don't know about you, but that is a comfort and a reminder to look to God in all things. Does the enemy try to twist and pervert this love that prevails over us to try to ensnare us? Yes, in the Garden of Eden, it is the oldest trick in the book, along with the twisting of the truth of what God says. This is witchcraft, you know. Adam and Eve had spiritual eyes and ears opened, living an abundant spiritual life in the presence and glory of God. God was teaching them how to walk and talk, just like our earthly parents taught us. We must be aware and awakened to the tactics of the enemy, which can be very subtle, playing with the very soul of humanity! He not only wants to uncover us, but he also wants to distract us from walking and talking with God.

The Tower of Babel was the same plot designed to cause confusion and lead humanity astray. It was the first One World Government, if you will, on a larger scale than just the Garden. In Christ Jesus, we are not naked but covered (2 Corinthians 5:1-8). So, let us reaffirm ourselves in the love and truth of God Almighty that covers us! We are in the shadow of the Almighty, and remember, we are sealed in Christ, owned and protected. The foundation of His government is justice and righteousness (Ephesians 1:13-23). Eternal Things: God's Words of Truth, the Soul of Man, and God's Love

There are other things the scripture teaches us that are eternal too: God's words of truth, the soul of man, and, again, God's love is eternal.

- John 15:1-6
I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]. You are already clean because of the words which I have given you [the teachings which I have discussed with you]. Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

We must embrace the pruning process of the unfruitful ways in our lives so that we may bear more fruit. It is all for God's glory, and He corrects those whom He loves. It truly is the fingerprint of a loving Father, the vinedresser. We are in a dress rehearsal for eternity as heavenly citizens, just like the Israelites were in a dress rehearsal out of Egypt and onward to the Promised Land. They went through a period of 40 years of correction, pruning, and training for the next epoch of God’s divine plans.

The coming of His Son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, came in humbleness. We await the return of our King, yet we are in a time of correction, pruning, and training for holiness, leading to His return in glory and splendor. We have an eternal destination, and we must strip off every unnecessary weight and sin and pull down every imagination that tries to entangle us. Christ Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. As my pastor always says (and sings), "Ain't no grave gonna hold me down."

God is putting things away in our lives so we can remain with Him. Do not be blindsided and allow the enemy to strip your garments away, uncovering you like Adam and Eve. Remember, Christ's love prevails over us. Stay in the vine, stay in the light, stay in the truth, and stay in the covering of Christ. There is no running, no hiding. It is written, "If I make my bed in hell, behold God is there!"

Remember, nothing can separate us from the love of God. He has provided a way of escape for all of us in His divine mercy because the day of judgment is coming. We don't want to be in conflict between two natures on any matters of sin and our eternal state. May we all be presented blameless before God through the Son, Jesus Christ (Psalms 139:7-10, Romans 8:35, 1 Corinthians 10:13).

Help us to reflect Your eternal truth in our lives, and may we be instruments of Your peace and love, carrying the message of salvation to those in need.

Lord, we also lift up Crystal Shields, her family, the Revelation Watchers team, and all readers who are touched by this message. Bless their lives, protect them, and guide them in Your truth. We especially pray for the Esther’s Call Prayer Warriors, asking for strength and wisdom as they intercede for others. Surround them with Your divine protection and empower them in their prayers.
